Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Specialist Practice

Location: Louisville, KY

Schedule: Full-Time - 4 days a week - Fridays off

We are a premier specialist dental office in Louisville dedicated to complete and total patient dental care. We do some very life-changing cases. We need a hygienist. We aren’t looking for a standard hygiene churn-and-burn. We are looking for a clinical partner who enjoys the nuances of specialty care—someone who can manage long-term maintenance programs, coordinate with our specialists, and make complex treatment plans easy for our patients to understand.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Specialized Care: Provide high-quality periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing, and assist with complex post-operative care.
• Clinical Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with our doctors to ensure seamless hand-offs and consistent patient education.
• Documentation: Maintain precise clinical notes and charting within our practice management software ([Insert Software Name]).
• Patient Education: Translate complex specialist treatment plans into actionable home-care advice that patients can actually follow.
• Workflow Efficiency: Maintain a sterile environment and assist in maintaining the flow of a fast-paced specialist schedule.

What We Need (Requirements)

• Licensure: Active Kentucky Registered Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
• Experience:5+years of experience. (While general experience is great, experience in a specialist setting is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital radiography and [Specific Software/Equipment].
• Soft Skills: A calm, empathetic demeanor. Our patients are often coming in with complex dental issues; they need a clinician who listens as well as they scale.
• Communication: Ability to confidently discuss periodontal health and systemic links with patients.
