Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12s (36 hrs/week)

Compensation & Incentives

• Base Pay: Starting at $33.15/hour (increases based on experience)
• Shift Differentials:$4.00/hour (evenings starting at 7 PM)
• $0.25/hour (late night starting at 11 PM)
• $6.00/hour Critical Care differential
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 (2-year commitment)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking adaptable and clinically strong Critical Care Float Pool RNs to join a dynamic hospital environment. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings and enjoy working across multiple critical care units.

As part of the float pool, you will gain exposure to a variety of patient populations while playing a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Monitor and evaluate critically ill patients across multiple units
• Deliver age-appropriate, culturally competent care tailored to individual patient needs
• Accurately document clinical findings, interventions, and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support discharge planning and patient/family education
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education

Required:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state or state-specific)
• Minimum 1 year of Critical Care nursing experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt quickly across units
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Highly Preferred:

• PCU (Progressive Care Unit) experience
• Strong Med-Surg background with exposure to higher-acuity patients
