This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a busy, fast-paced Renal/Vascular Medical-Surgical unit within a large, full-service acute care hospital. This unit cares for complex adult patients and is ideal for nurses who thrive in hands-on bedside care, enjoy clinical variety, and value strong teamwork.

You’ll work alongside experienced clinicians in a patient-centered environment that prioritizes safety, collaboration, and professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients with renal and vascular needs
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to clinical changes
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and discharge planning
• Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Manage care efficiently in a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio environment

Qualifications

• 1+ year of RN experience required
• Acute care experience NOT required
• Experience accepted from:
• LTAC
• Skilled Nursing Facility
• Outpatient Rehab
• Corrections
• Strong bedside or high-patient-volume experience preferred
• Active RN license (Florida or compact)
• Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred
• BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) required prior to start
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of hire
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved exemption
