Physical Therapist (PT)

Setting: Primarily Outpatient with Acute Care float coverage.

Role Overview:

Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, and evidence-based intervention. This role involves managing a diverse caseload and supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), Aides, and students to ensure optimal functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clinical Excellence: Conduct formal evaluations of skeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary function; develop and adapt goal-specific treatment plans.
• Patient Advocacy: Educate patients and caregivers on pathology, prognosis, and home exercise programs.
• Coordination: Collaborate with physicians on plan of care updates and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic patient management.
• Documentation: Maintain timely, accurate clinical and billing records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Professionalism: Assist with program development, process improvement, and community education initiatives.

Requirements:

• Skills: Strong clinical reasoning, independent problem-solving, and effective verbal/written communication.
• Tech Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and electronic documentation systems.
• Physical: Ability to perform "Medium" demand labor (lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally; 20 lbs frequently) and maintain prolonged standing/walking.
• Safety: Adherence to OSHA standards, including PPE use and infection control protocols.
• Active PT license and BLS
