Title: Advanced Practice Provider – Oncology (NP or PA)

Location: Coos Bay, Oregon

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Day Outpatient-Focuse



A respected coastal healthcare system is seeking a passionate Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, growing cancer care service line. This role offers the rare balance of high-acuity oncology practice, predictable daytime scheduling, and a supportive, team-driven environment.

You’ll work alongside experienced oncologists and a high-caliber infusion nursing team, delivering evidence-based, compassionate care in a modern cancer center designed to support both patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oncology care across outpatient and consultative settings
  • Manage treatment plans including chemotherapy and supportive care
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and care coordinators
  • Educate patients and families throughout the cancer care continuum
  • Maintain high standards of clinical quality, documentation, and patient communication
  • Utilize EMR systems efficiently to support coordinated care


Required Qualifications

  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Oncology certification (or in process for NP candidates)
  • Oncology-focused training or experience strongly preferred
  • Eligible for state licensure (or willingness to obtain)
  • Clean malpractice and background history
  • Recent NPDB self-query report
  • Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient oncology preferred
  • Willingness to reside locally (relocation assistance available)
