Job Summary

Our growing, locally owned and managed, not-for-profit health system is looking for a Radiation Therapist to deliver safe, accurate radiation therapy treatments while providing compassionate, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for administering prescribed radiation doses, positioning patients with precision, and supporting patients and families throughout the treatment process. The Radiation Therapist works closely with physicians and the oncology care team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based cancer care.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer daily prescribed radiation therapy treatments
• Accurately position patients according to treatment prescriptions
• Follow established standard work and clinical protocols
• Apply radiation safety principles to protect patients, self, and others
• Utilize appropriate protective equipment and safety procedures
• Educate, prepare, and reassure patients and families regarding treatment, side effects, and post-treatment care
• Foster a caring, compassionate, and respectful environment
• Contribute to the training of radiation therapy students
• Participate in continuing education and professional development
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Licenses & Certifications

• ARRT Certification required
• SCRQSA Certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
