Scope: Emergency Department only

Are you an experienced Emergency Department leader ready to take the next step in a high-acuity, fast-paced, patient-centered environment?

This Emergency Services Manager role offers the opportunity to lead a large, complex ED within a highly respected acute-care facility that includes multiple emergency departments, advanced trauma services, and strong physician and nursing collaboration.


As the Emergency Services Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in clinical excellence, staff engagement, patient safety, and operational performance, while partnering closely with senior nursing leadership to advance departmental and organizational goals.

🔑 What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on leadership for daily operations of the Emergency Department
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through staffing oversight, workflow optimization, and clinical accountability
  • Lead, coach, and develop a large team of ED nurses and support staff
  • Monitor quality indicators, patient throughput, and clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Support a culture of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement

🎯 Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent ED leadership experience (Manager strongly preferred; high-acuity Charge Nurse experience considered)
  • Recent acute-care Emergency Department experience required
  • BSN preferred (or actively pursuing with completion within 2 years of hire)
  • Active RN license (state or compact)
  • Required within 90 days of hire:
  • ACLS
  • TNCC
  • NIH Stroke Scale
  • ENPC or PALS
