Nurser Practitioner ( NP)/ Physician Assistant ( PA-C) Hampton, VA

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for patients under the supervision of attending physicians
• Perform daily rounds, patient assessments, and care plan updates
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and treatments
• Manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless transitions of care
• Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
• Serve as a clinical resource and patient advocate

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license (APRN) with prescriptive authority State of VA
• Certification as an Acute Care NP, Adult-Gerontology NP, or Family NP (with inpatient experience)
• Minimum [2+] years of clinical experience, preferably in hospitalist, acute care, or LTAC settings
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage medically complex patients
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
