Assistant Director – Behavioral Health (RN)

Requirements:
- Active RN License
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with leadership and behavioral health background
Preferred:
- 5 years RN experience, with 2–5 years in leadership
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field
Role Summary
The Assistant Director is responsible for the operational and clinical management of designated psychiatric units on a 24-hour basis. This includes overseeing nursing staff, ensuring high standards of patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and administrative leadership for nursing and support teams within psychiatric services.
- Manage hiring, training, and performance of clinical staff.
- Develop and manage departmental staffing and budgets to meet operational goals.
- Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, and high-quality patient care.
- Promote compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.
- Drive initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, outcomes, and team engagement.
- Support growth and efficiency within existing and new behavioral health programs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s (minimum); BSN or MSN preferred
- Experience: 2–5 years (minimum), 5–10 years preferred
- Leadership: 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- License: RN (required)
