Title: Fulltime HR Manager (Home Health experience preferred)


Job Summary

The Home Health HR Manager oversees recruitment, employee relations, and regulatory compliance for a Michigan-based home health agency. This role supports strategic goals through effective HR operations, including benefits management, onboarding, and labor law adherence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage hiring, orientation, and employee paperwork.
  • Employee Relations: Address concerns, mediate disputes, and handle disciplinary actions.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal labor laws (OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Benefits & Leave: Administer employee benefits and manage leave requests.
  • Records Management: Maintain compliant and up-to-date employee files.
  • Performance Support: Implement HR strategies to align with business goals.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Experience with benefits administration (health, dental, vision).
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.
