Territory: Dallas TX - Could live in Houston

Location: Prefer Dallas location, but can live in Houston.

Salary: 80k-120k base with 40-60k bonus depending on experience

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for digital dentistry and clinical excellence? Join our team as an Outside Sales Representative, where you will act as a strategic partner to General Practitioners and mid-sized DSOs across Texas.

In this role, you aren’t just selling laboratory services—you are delivering advanced digital workflows, clinical solutions, and a premier scanner partnership program that helps dental practices thrive.


Core Responsibilities

1. Territory Growth & Business Development

This person will manage all business for this lab in TX and develop new accounts.

  • Hunt & Convert: Execute a disciplined prospecting cadence to identify and win new GP and DSO accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Consultative Selling: Conduct deep-dive needs assessments to present the laboratory’s full suite of solutions (Fixed, Removable, Implant, Ortho).
  • Pipeline Management: Move opportunities through the sales funnel with precision, from initial cold outreach to successful account activation.

2. Strategic Account Management

  • Expand Footprint: Increase "share-of-wallet" within existing accounts by introducing new product lines and encouraging digital case adoption.
  • Build Partnerships: Develop high-trust relationships with dentists, office managers, and DSO stakeholders.
  • Problem Solve: Act as the bridge between the practice and internal technical/operations teams to ensure seamless case delivery and issue resolution.

3. Digital Transformation (Scanner Program)

  • Placement & Qualification: Identify practices ready for digital integration and facilitate the placement of intraoral scanners through our partnership programs.
  • Onboarding: Partner with internal technical resources to ensure clinic staff are fully trained on digital workflows and portal submissions.
  • Drive Adoption: Monitor utilization rates and intervene with additional training or support to ensure long-term program success and compliance.

4. Market Presence & Education

  • Brand Representation: Serve as the face of the laboratory at regional trade shows, study clubs, and clinical education (CE) events.
  • Clinical Education: Plan and lead in-practice "Lunch-and-Learns" and educational programs to position the laboratory as a clinical thought leader.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience: 3+ years of B2B field sales experience (Dental or Medical Device industry strongly preferred).
  • Skillset: Proven track record of territory expansion and "hunting" new business.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM tools and a solid understanding of sales reporting and forecasting.
  • Mobility: Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel extensively within the Texas territory.

Preferred Assets:

  • Specific experience in dental laboratory sales, calling on GPs and DSOs.
  • Familiarity with digital dentistry (STL files, intraoral scanning, and digital case portals).
  • A "customer-first" mindset with the ability to navigate complex clinical conversations.

Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • New account activations and territory revenue growth.
  • Expansion of product mix and digital case volume.
  • Successful scanner placements and sustained utilization rates.
  • CRM hygiene, activity standards, and pipeline accuracy.
