We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join a high-volume, patient-centered maternity unit. This role offers the opportunity to care for a diverse patient population, including a significant number of high-risk pregnancies, within a collaborative and supportive clinical environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $33 – $52/hour (based on experience)
- Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 for eligible candidates
- Must reside outside a 71-mile radius
- 2-year commitment required

- 20 Labor & Delivery rooms
- 11 OB triage rooms
- 3 surgical suites
- ~350 deliveries per month

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
- Monitor and evaluate patient condition throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Provide age-appropriate, culturally competent care tailored to each patient’s needs
- Accurately document clinical assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Educate patients and families to support informed decision-making and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education
Required:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (multi-state or state-specific)
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience in high-risk obstetrics
- Familiarity with clinical pathways and patient-centered care models
