Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor – CICU (Night Shift)

Full-Time | Nights | $140,000 – $220,000 per year depending on years of experience

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor of Nursing to join our Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). This unit provides advanced care for pre- and post-operative cardiac patients, cardiomyopathy cases requiring mechanical circulatory support, and patients with heart failure, post-MI conditions, and a wide range of critical needs including IABP, Swan-Ganz, CRRT, TTM, DKA, pacemakers, severe sepsis, and respiratory failure.

Reporting to the Nurse Manager, Director, or Executive Director, the Supervisor will serve as a Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor, ensuring an optimal care environment, supporting staff, and overseeing unit activities to maintain the highest standards of patient care. This role requires strong leadership, clinical expertise, and the ability to plan, organize, and coordinate unit operations in a cost-effective manner.

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Current California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• Current BLS certification – American Heart Association (upon hire)
• One professional certification in a related specialty (upon hire)
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in specialty area
• Prior Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience

Preferred

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Formal leadership experience
