JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse – Neurology


JOB LOCATION :Gainesville, FL


SHIFT: Days or Nights | Rotating Weekends 3*12 Hour Shifts


STATUS : Full Time Perm


JOB OVERVIEW:

This Neurology RN role is ideal for Registered Nurses who want to grow their clinical skills in a hospital environment without needing prior acute care experience. Nurses from home health, LTAC, skilled nursing, rehab, outpatient, or corrections backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

You will provide patient-centered neurological care while working with a collaborative care team focused on safety, education, and quality outcomes.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assess patient condition on admission and during each shift
  • Identify and report changes in patient status promptly
  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses
  • Perform ordered treatments, procedures, and monitoring
  • Document all care accurately and timely
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, treatments, and follow-up care
  • Advocate for patients and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide compassionate, safe, and responsive care


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 year of RN experience required
  • Acute care experience not required
  • Accepted backgrounds include Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Rehab, Outpatient, and Corrections
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Florida RN license or compact license required
  • Compact license holders must obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation
  • BLS required within 30 days of start date


SHIFTS:


Day Shift – Rotating Weekends

Night Shift – Rotating Weekends
