Regional Independent Living Director
Requirements:
- Must have 3-5 years experience as a Community Director in regional leadership
- No specific licensure or certifications required
Travel:
- Travel required across Mid-Michigan communities
- Mileage, lodging, and related expenses reimbursed (no company vehicle provided)
- Frequency of visits based on community performance:
- If 5 of 6 metrics are met: visits are quarterly
- If not, visits increase based on need
Role Overview:
The Regional Personal Care Director supports and oversees Personal Care Directors across multiple communities, focusing on performance, coaching, and resident outcomes. The role centers on promoting aging in place within Independent and Enhanced Living (not Assisted Living or Memory Care), with coordination of third-party care providers as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Oversight
- Ensure programs meet operational standards through regular visits
- Provide clinical oversight for residents receiving personal care services
- Implement and uphold regional policies and objectives
Strategy & Process Improvement
- Evaluate and improve systems and procedures
- Optimize staffing and processes to enhance resident care
Relationship Management
- Foster strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and vendors
- Support community leaders in cross-department collaboration
- Coach and influence teams for continuous improvement
Culture & Values
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and open feedback
- Set and maintain high standards with clear, actionable goals
