Registered Dental Hygienist Opportunity (Part or Full-Time Opportunities)

A modern, patient-focused dental practice located in Medford, NY

HIRING SCHEDULE:

Monday: 9:00am–5:00pm

Wednesday: 9:00am–6:00pm

Thursday: 10:00am–7:00pm

Friday: 9:00am–5:00pm

Saturday: 8:00am–2:00pm

Flexible for full-time or part-time scheduling options

Working as a Hygienist with Us:

• 1-hour recall appointments: We prioritize quality care with dedicated time for each patient

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide a high level of patient care with exceptional chairside manner, building trust and rapport
• Support overall oral health by identifying signs of periodontal disease and potential oral cancers
• Thoroughly document and review patient medical histories and chief complaints
• Take x-rays and intraoral images to assist in treatment planning and monitor progress
• Perform precise oral hygiene procedures aligned with the dentist’s treatment plans
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or unexpected situations during patient care
• Educate patients on at-home oral hygiene and preventive care practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Registered Dental Hygienist license in the respective state
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Strong understanding of comprehensive dentistry, including hygiene procedures, patient screening, and documentation
• Any additional certifications or licenses required by the state
