Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Type: Direct Hire


Compensation & Incentives

  • Pay Range: $36.00 – $56.00/hour (based on experience)
  • Relocation Assistance: Available for eligible candidates (outside 71-mile radius)


About the Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Charge RN – Surgery to lead daily operations within a growing Operating Room environment. This role combines hands-on clinical expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring efficient patient flow, high-quality care, and strong team coordination.

This position will initially be based at one campus and will transition to a newly expanded surgical facility, offering a unique opportunity to be part of a major OR expansion and growth initiative.


Surgical Unit Highlights

  • Currently 4 Operating Rooms performing 12–18 cases per day
  • Expanding to 8 Operating Rooms with projected 20–30 cases per day
  • Team includes RNs and Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs)
  • High-volume Orthopedic and Neurosurgical cases


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily OR operations, staffing, and case flow to ensure efficiency and patient safety
  • Serve as a clinical leader and resource for surgical staff
  • Circulate in complex Orthopedic and Neurosurgical cases as needed
  • Support adherence to surgical protocols, safety standards, and infection control practices
  • Facilitate communication between surgeons, anesthesia, nursing staff, and leadership
  • Assist in onboarding, mentoring, and supporting OR team members
  • Address patient care concerns and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements


Required:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room circulating experience
  • Hands-on experience circulating in Orthopedic and Neuro cases
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to coordinate teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills


Preferred:

  • CNOR certification
  • Experience with Epic
  • Stable work history demonstrating career progression
