MRI Technologist – Full-Time, Days

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a leading healthcare team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will perform high-quality Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will be patient-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures, including patient preparation, positioning, and scanning.
• Administer contrast agents when necessary.
• Monitor and enter patient data accurately.
• Ensure technical quality of imaging results.
• Conduct quality assurance on MRI equipment and related systems.
• Report accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to management.
• Take emergency call assignments as required.
• Promote patient safety and adhere to departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support professional growth of colleagues by serving as a mentor or preceptor.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support (BLS/ACLS), required.
• Registered MRI Technologist through ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, required.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients in conjunction with others.
