HR Generalist (Dept of 1)
We’re looking for a patient, kind, reliable, and detailed Human Resource Professional. This person will be a part of the operations team and will report directly to the Director of Operations.
- Process weekly payroll timely and accurately for all three of the businesses.
- Daily interface with employees regarding questions about whatever their needs are for that day. This can include but is not limited to garnishments, child support, health care, hours tracking, and fuel reimbursement questions.
- Maintain vacation, sick, and other PTO time tracking under our company policies.
- Attract, develop, and retain HR talent at all levels of the organization, maintaining healthy attrition levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Monitor processes and ensure accurate maintenance of employee files and HRIS database
- Review and administer unemployment and workers' compensation claims.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of employee benefit programs and oversee annual enrollment.
- Guide to ensure the integrity of the performance management program and the development of employees
- Oversee all aspects of employee relations; ensure Company policies are administered fairly and consistently
- Provide consultative support to managers and supervisors
- Manage organizational change by being proactive with hiring and holding team members accountable.
- Have a team player attitude and work well in a collaborative environment.
- Can take constructive feedback in strides and understand that feedback helps us grow.
Position requirements:
- A minimum of three years’ experience in a management role in a human resources position.
- A bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, organizational behavior, or related field is required.
- SHRM, or PHR certification strongly preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary along with strong organizational skills, and analytical and time management skills.
- Proven skills with PC and MS Office software, including Excel, and Outlook as well as strong internet skills.
- On site 5 days a week in Central Denver
Salary:
Up to $80k base
