Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Lead Oracle Database Administrator to lead and guide all design and upgrade efforts encompassing the Oracle Database environments across a large-scale enterprise Information Technology (IT) program. This is a full time position supporting a classified US Navy contract in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Position Title: Lead Oracle Database Administrator
Position Location: This position is onsite in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Ensure Databases are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Support database migrations and consolidations (ad-hoc and scheduled).
- Oversee database replication, which may include the setup for new replication activities.
- Develop Service Design Packages and maintain SOPs for all Oracle database systems
- Responsible for insuring compliance with all regulations, upgrade and optimize the performance of Oracle Databases and support future planning efforts
- Configure environments for and in support of all Oracle database related aspects of user acceptance testing, functional acceptance testing, system-level testing, database security testing, installation/migration testing, configuration/compatibility testing, and performance, load and stress testing, as well as support of systems assurance tasks.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD
- Minimum of 10+ years of Database Administration (DBA) experience
- Minimum of 8+ years database design including, capacity planning, configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security, data recovery and troubleshooting
- Requires an active TS/SCI
- Proven general knowledge in virtualization and networking, and a working knowledge of MS Project
- Proven experience insuring compliance with all regulations, upgrades, optimizing the performance of all databases, and supporting future planning
- Oracle DB certification; Version 12 or above
- Current ITIL Foundations certification
Desired:
- Oracle Certified Master certification is desired
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $135k-$145k+
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
