Position Title: Program Manager

Position Location: This position is full time, on-site at Fort Detrick, Maryland. 


Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Manages health sciences award management support services contract, with responsibility for oversight of contract personnel, recruitment, and retention of expertise in alignment with client needs.
  • Manages personnel performance and execution of contract and assigned duties.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact with the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and other stakeholders.
  • Oversees the health sciences award lifecycle including pre-award and post-award stages, overseeing award administration and management support.
  • Ensures adherence to federal regulations, guidelines, and contract-specific policies and procedures.
  • Monitors program progress, risks, deliverables, metrics, and outcomes, and ensures data quality.
  • Provides status updates, reports, documentation, and manages client communication.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • At least eight (8) years of program management experience in a federal government environment.


Required Degree/Certifications:           

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Project Manager Professional (PMP) certification

                                 

Required Experience & Expertise in the following areas:

  • Proven ability to manage programs with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with awards management and/or health sciences programming preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to successfully interact with the client and be involved with client negotiations and with senior and executive management. 


Required Clearance:

  • Security/background check. Candidates with active security clearance are preferred.


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: TBD

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
