Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support a government customer in Oakton, VA.

With offices in Washington DC and San Diego, CA, CTC is a leading technology company providing lifecycle IT, data analytics, cloud, agile software development, DevOps, Test Automation, Cyber Security, and infrastructure solutions. Additionally, we provide Professional Talent Acquisition Services as we proudly support the unique needs of U.S. Defense, Intelligence, and Federal Civilian agencies as well as Fortune 1000 companies.

Requirements:

• Active TS/SCI
• On-site in Oakton, VA – no remote – 5 days per week
• Mid-to-senior level (Tier 2+/3)
• Strong collaboration with network, security, and ops teams
• Availability for up to 6 months (extensions possible but not guaranteed)

Core Skills:

• Strong packet capture (PCAP) analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump, ExtraHop)
• Baseline network traffic & performance; detect anomalies
• Knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP protocols

Relevant Certifications:

• CCNP / CCIE (Cisco)
• JNCIP / JNCIE (Juniper)
• WCNA (Wireshark Certified Network Analyst)
• GIAC GCIA, CEH, or similar security certs

Security Clearance:

• Must have a TS/SCI clearance (min.)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: TBD
