Computer Technologies Consultants (CTC) is seeking a Mobile Software Engineer to support our clients’ team in Seattle, WA. This is a remote position, however candidates must be able to meet with the client in Seattle on occasion.

Position Title: Mobile Software Engineer

Position Location: Remote but the ability to meet the client in Seattle is a plus


Daily Responsibilities:                                 

  • Develop mobile functional design, UI/UX design, responsive web development
  • Develop, test and deploy mobile applications
  • Mobile applications O&M
  • Work with other team members to provide integrated products and support
  • Other duties as assigned.


Required Years of Experience (min):       

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.


Required Degree:           

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or Four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function.


Required Experience:                                  

  • Minimum 5 years related experience.
  • A portfolio of successful mobile application development projects that can be demonstrated.
  • Proven ability to develop and apply technologies, engineering principles, theories, and concepts to mobile solutions.
  • Experience creating mobile web applications that are accessible on multiple mobile devices and on multiple screen sizes.
  • Experience providing advantages and disadvantages of differing mobile responsive layouts and providing recommendations.
  • Experience with industrial/physical UX design and developing prototypes.
  • Experience with hybrid app development with the ionic framework.
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries, specifically React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience with responsive web frameworks, Java, HTML, JS, and CSS.
  • Expert knowledge with node.js
  • Experience planning, designing, and engineering Web-based applications for mobile deployment, including development, integration, implementation, and testing.
  • Collaborates in an agile environment with stakeholders and the mobile team to develop technical ideas and guide their development into a final product.
  • Applies knowledge of web development frameworks to provide insight into the limitations and consequences of specific mobile web design and development decisions.
  • Experience with industry standard mobile application technologies and stays abreast of new and emerging mobile technologies.
  • Experience building IT security into the design and development of mobile applications.
  • Experience developing mobile applications that are 508 compliant.
  • Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-managed professional and also able to work in a team environment.


Additional Experience:

  • Experience tracking and updating changes using code version control software/services, such as Git.
  • Experience identifying and correcting functional, performance, and UI issues.
  • Experience maintaining a consistent standard of code quality and organization.
  • Experience collaborating with the cross-functional Mobile Team to define, design, develop, and deploy new products and features that meet customer, project, and regulatory (508) requirements; working independently as needed.


Desired Experience and Capabilities:

  • Transportation experience a plus, Urban Transit experience a double-plus
  • In order of preference candidate will reside in
  • Greater Seattle area
  • Pacific Northwest
  • West Coast
  • Ability to participate in oral presentation on October 23


Required Clearance/Citizenship:

  • US Citizen


Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: TBD
