Taiwan Country Manager - Semiconductor Capital Equipment
Our client, a leading provider of semiconductor capital equipment, is seeking an experienced and driven leader to take on the role of Taiwan Country Manager. You will lead sales and service operations in the region and prepare the company for an IPO. This is a crucial role reporting directly to the EVP/Chief Business Officer.
Principal Duties:
- Provide executive leadership to drive revenue, profit, and operational excellence goals
- Formulate and execute strategic business plans aligned with global objectives
- Own full P&L responsibility and expense management for the Taiwan region
- Develop and maintain executive relationships with key customers to ensure their success
- Partner cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations and business continuity
- Deliver timely performance reports and represent regional needs in planning cycles
- Embody the company's values and Code of Conduct as a leader
Key Performance Objectives:
- Exceed annual revenue and profitability targets for the Taiwan market
- Maintain industry-leading customer satisfaction and retention metrics
- Attract, develop, and retain top sales and service talent in the region
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree in Business/Technology preferred
- 15+ years of experience, with 10+ years in the semiconductor/high-tech industry
- Proven track record of P&L ownership and driving profitable growth
- Demonstrated success leading organizations of 100+ employees
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and execution focus
- Excellent leadership, communication, customer relationship skills
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin/Taiwanese) required
