Are you a seasoned Senior Project Manager who has managed multiple ERP implementation projects and who enjoys high profile projects? Do you excel at working with both hands on technical people as well as interacting with executive level stakeholders?


We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic JD Edwards Tools Upgrade initiative for our client. This is a high-visibility, deadline-driven project with a firm go-live date of June 22, 2026. The PM will be responsible for full-cycle delivery, from charter development and planning through execution, hyper care, and post-project retrospectives. We expect the time commitment to be up to 20 hours per week with heavier periods around March and April 2026.


Here is what you'll be doing on a day to day basis:


  • Lead the JD Edwards Tools Upgrade project, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Collaborate closely with both the vendor partner and the client’s internal teams, including technical staff and executive stakeholders.
  • Drive upfront charter creation, detailed planning, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate clear, concise communication across all levels of the organization, distilling complex information into actionable insights.
  • Manage project governance, reporting, and stakeholder engagement with precision and professionalism.
  • Oversee testing, training, cutover planning, and post-go-live hyper care.
  • Conduct lessons learned sessions and contribute to continuous improvement.


Here is the type of person we are looking for:


  • 7+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in ERP implementations or upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of ERP systems and lifecycle management (JD Edwards experience is a plus but not required).
  • Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to think critically and synthesize complex messages.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and technical teams.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Must reside in British Columbia or Alberta and be able to work primarily remotely.
