On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Technical Business Analyst for a 12 month contract. This role bridges data analysis, technical operations, and business process optimization within a dynamic, cross-functional environment. The successful candidate will support live service development, drive operational improvements, and strengthen data integrity across multiple workflows. The ideal candidate combines analytical acumen with strong communication, adaptability, and a proactive mindset — someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces innovation, including the use of AI and automation tools, to optimize performance.

Here is what you'll be doing on a day to day basis:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Map existing workflows, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and governance.
• Partner with internal security and infrastructure teams to ensure alignment on best practices for file management, data sharing, and access control.
• Support initiatives to strengthen compliance, governance, and operational transparency across teams.
• Assist in the development, configuration, and implementation of optimized content delivery workflows.
• Lead data collection, inspection, and annotation efforts to improve system accuracy and traceability.
• Perform high-level data cleaning, aggregation, and analysis to uncover trends and inform operational decisions.
• Manage and maintain internal data tracking dashboards, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timely updates.
• Extract insights from multiple data sources to support business priorities, incident reviews, and process improvements.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners on sensitive data initiatives requiring discretion and analytical rigor.
• Present analytical findings and project updates to senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams in a clear, engaging manner.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement secure, scalable solutions for data storage and sharing.
• Provide input on automation and workflow enhancements using scripting, APIs, and integrated data tools.
• Support technical calls and reviews focused on system performance, client-server interactions, and database dependencies.
• Facilitate coordination across multiple teams to ensure consistent processes and shared understanding of data governance standards

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

• Experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Technical Analyst role.
• Strong proficiency with Google Sheets, including data manipulation, macros, and automation.
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Google Apps Script for data analysis and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, or other dashboarding tools for visual analytics.
• Understanding of server–client architecture, APIs, and database management systems.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working with confidential data and exercising sound judgment in sensitive situations.
• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and process-mapping abilities.
• Willingness to adopt AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (preferred).
• Interest in football data, live service environments, or digital content ecosystems (asset).
