Are you an experienced Business Analyst/Tester with a strong background in data validation, migration, and transformation? Do you have hands-on expertise with SQL, ETL testing, and scripting? Are you ready to contribute to a critical enterprise data program?

Our client is delivering a major initiative focused on enterprise data platform (EDP) transformation and integration and has asked us to find an EDP BA/Tester (Intermediate) for a 6-month contract position with high chance of extension to support this program.

Here is what you will do on a day-to-day basis:

• Validate data accuracy and quality across multiple systems and platforms
• Test data migration, transformation, and integration processes to ensure compliance with data standards
• Identify discrepancies, anomalies, and gaps in data pipelines and workflows
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure business requirements are met
• Apply SQL expertise to query, validate, and troubleshoot data sets
• Conduct ETL testing and data migration validation across enterprise systems
• Document findings, test results, and recommendations for remediation
• Support data quality frameworks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Work with modern data platforms such as Azure Synapse or Microsoft Fabric
• Utilize scripting languages such as Python to support automation and testing tasks

Here is the type of person we are looking for:

• Intermediate-level professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in BA/Testing roles
• Strong SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with ETL and data migration testing
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and standards
• Exposure to Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or similar data platforms is preferred
• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages is an asset
• Reliability Clearance is mandatory; Secret Clearance is an advantage
• Strong communication and analytical skills to work with stakeholders across technical and business teams
