Are you an Informatica MDM Tester with deep experience in data mastering, governance workflows, and identity resolution? Do you thrive in environments where mapping business needs to platform capabilities drives innovation?


Our client is exploring the potential of Informatica IDMC to meet enterprise-grade client and reference data mastering requirements. This PoC will shape future data governance and stewardship strategies across the organization.


Our client has asked us to find an Informatica MDM Tester for a permanent position.


Here is what you will do on a day-to-day basis:


Requirements & Validation

  • Gather and map business requirements to IDMC capabilities (MDM, RDM, CDQ, CAI)
  • Develop use case scenarios and acceptance criteria for matching, governance, and data mastering
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to validate out-of-the-box vs. customization needs
  • Define success metrics for governance adoption and identity resolution

Data Quality & Profiling

  • Perform profiling and data assessment in CDQ to identify duplicates, anomalies, and data patterns
  • Benchmark MDM identity matching accuracy against SSA Name3
  • Measure and report false positives/negatives for resolution accuracy

Governance Testing

  • Validate data stewardship workflows by tracking time-to-resolution for governance tasks
  • Report on usability and effectiveness of governance adoption

Reporting & KPIs

  • Provide data-driven KPIs and dashboards for PoC outcomes
  • Document gaps between OOTB capabilities and customization requirements


Here is the type of person we are looking for:


  • Strong experience testing Informatica IDMC (MDM, RDM, CDQ, CAI) features
  • Knowledge of identity resolution, matching rules, survivorship, and data governance workflows
  • Hands-on experience with data profiling, quality benchmarking, and duplicate detection
  • Ability to define and track acceptance criteria, KPIs, and success metrics
  • Strong communication skills for facilitating workshops and presenting findings
  • Familiarity with SSA Name3 or other identity resolution benchmarking tools is a plus
  • Experience in public sector or large-scale regulated environments is desirable
  • This role requires Federal Reliability Clearance. Having resided in Canada for the past 5 years is required to qualify for clearance.
  • The ability to work eastern standard time hours is mandatory.


Salary range: $90–120k
