Location: Houston, Upper Kirby (On-Site/Hybrid)

Our exclusive agency client is looking for their next Senior Copywriter! This Houston-area full-service branding and marketing firm has a rich 30+ year history of serving clients of all sizes, with an emphasis on mid-sized businesses. Their next great Senior Copywriter should have extensive client-facing experience to help continue their solid reputation of being a true partner for their clients by going above and beyond. They offer ample growth opportunities, a strong collaborative environment and an “in it to win it” mindset. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, proactive and invested in client success.


Hybrid (Monday and Friday) remote work option after employee’s first 90 days.


Responsibilities:


·        Provide copywriting for all client marketing materials including, but not limited to: branding campaigns, brochures, sales collateral, websites, print and digital ads, email marketing, blogs, and social media

·        Able to develop campaign concepts through brand messaging, create strong, well-written content and adapt to current brand message standards for each client

·        Serve as one of the day-to-day points of contact for client

·        Consistently manage personal timelines and projects while working on multiple client accounts simultaneously

·        Work closely with an Account Director to produce high quality, consistent materials that meet clients’ individual needs

 

Experience, Education & Preferred Skills:


·        5+ years of experience in professional writing or as a professional copywriter, either in-house or agency

·        Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or a related track

·        Experience working on a variety of copy (portfolio/work examples required)

·        Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·        Client-facing experience

·        Ability to work at an efficient pace and manage multiple deadlines

·        Strong attention to detail, proofreading and editing skills

·        Outgoing, positive and able to work both independently and with a team

·        Excellent time and project management skills

·        Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

·        Agency experience a plus


The expected pay range for this salary is $65,000-75,000 with the ability to potentially flex beyond for the right candidate. Salary is based on a wide range of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
