Director, Channel Marketing

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
As the Director of Channel Marketing, you will lead the evolution of owned marketing channels, employing innovative marketing techniques to drive the sales demand funnel. This role includes managing both an in-house team and a network of digital marketing contractors and creatives, focusing on strategic and tactical channel management to drive revenue. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketing, this role is instrumental in shaping and optimizing the organization’s marketing efforts.
Core Responsibilities:

SEO & Website Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve organic search visibility and optimize website performance, enhancing both user experience and backend functionality.

Pipeline Development: Drive strategies to enhance the sales pipeline and ensure customer retention and expansion.

Resource Management: Oversee a combination of in-house and external resources for inbound and outbound marketing initiatives.

Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to guide decisions and measure performance across all marketing channels.

Conversion Optimization: Continuously improve conversion rates across all digital channels, including the website, social platforms, third-party review sites, and more.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Execute targeted campaigns to engage key accounts and influence outbound pipeline generation directly.

Content Marketing: Manage the planning, creation, and distribution of impactful content to build brand awareness, establish thought leadership, and generate leads.

Marketing Automation: Oversee marketing automation efforts by designing and maintaining nurture campaigns for prospects and customers within the client’s database.

Analytics & Reporting: Establish performance goals, create reports and dashboards, and regularly communicate insights to the team to assess and optimize program effectiveness.
Required Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in performance marketing, particularly in the B2B SaaS sector.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams and building demand generation functions.
- Proven ability to develop and scale effective marketing programs and campaigns.
- Deep knowledge of modern demand generation strategies and marketing channels.
- A strategic yet hands-on approach to driving marketing outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and deliver on shared business objectives.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, and vendor relationships, including contract negotiations.
- Proficiency with marketing automation, SDR automation, buyer intent tools, and website optimization software.
