Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) – Restaurant POS

Location: Tampa, FL


Overview:

Our client, a leader in restaurant POS and technology, is looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join, and help build, their Sales Team in Tampa. You will help lay the foundation of their sales effort through prospecting prospective restaurant owners and articulating the value of the Company’s suite of products for their business.


As a Sales Development Representative, you will work strategically with the inside sales team to qualify deals and create dramatic growth. As the first line of contact, you must be able to understand the diverse needs of restaurant operators. You will become an expert in the products and services that enables restaurants to thrive with this best-in-class restaurant management system.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high volume prospecting for qualified leads (100+ outbound calls per day).
  • Research and prioritize prospective restaurants.
  • Create a great first impression to prospects and inspire them to learn how the company’s solutions can benefit their business.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the inside sales team to deliver qualified leads demonstrations.
  • Build business through outreach emails and phone calls.
  • Schedule online and onsite product demonstrations for Inside and Field Sales Representatives
  • Conduct needs assessments calls with specific prospects as assigned
  • Gain sales exposure and experience by partnering with sales reps.


Requirements:

  • 1-3 years in a qualifying or prospecting role preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A strong desire to grow your career in sales.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Skilled in multitasking with different technologies
  • Determination, positive attitude, and ability to self-motivate.
  • Critical thinking and strong decision-making abilities.
  • An assertive, resilient and persuasive personality.
  • No reservations communicating over the phone.
  • Coachability, interest in implementing feedback, and dedication to the consistent improvement of your craft.
  • Curiosity and ambition to learn more about the company and their POS market.
  • Experience in client-facing or sales role.
  • Must be quick on your feet, tenacious, and possess grit to overcome objections
