Mandatory skills: Android, Java and Reverse Engineering

 

Experience: 7 to 8 years

 

Preferred Qualifications:


• Expertise in threat identification, with the ability to accurately pinpoint malicious code and classify all categories of malicious applications.

• Proficient in industry‑recognized reverse‑engineering tools such as IDA Pro and Ghidra, along with complementary open‑source utilities, to accurately assess the malicious behaviour of Android applications.

•  Experience in Android reverse engineering (APK, DEX, SDK), malware analysis including binary analysis, and threat modelling.

•  Understanding of ARM-based architecture.

•  Android application development experience in C/C++ and Java.

•  Experience analysing app behaviour using automated tools and sandbox environments to identify known malicious patterns.

•  Strong technical knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security, authentication, security protocols, and applied cryptography.

•  Experience with automation and scripting, preferably in Python.

•  Ability to classify applications based on predefined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and known threat indicators.

 

Android development and debugging skills, which is the core requirement and Mobile Security part.

 

Tools like: IDA Pro, Ghidra, Frida

Analysis skills: Static Analysis (SAST), Dynamic Analysis (DAST), Binary Analysis, DE compilation, Obfuscation Bypass, Threat Detection Signature Design, Behavioral Rule Development, IOC Generation.


Required Experience


• Strong experience in Android malware analysis and reverse engineering

• Expertise with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, and related analysis frameworks

• Hands-on experience analysing Android APK, DEX, and SDK components

• Deep understanding of ARM architecture and mobile application execution models

• Strong knowledge of security engineering, network security, authentication protocols, and applied cryptography

• Experience developing or analysing Android applications using Java and C/C++

• Experience with automation and scripting (Python preferred)

• Familiarity with sandbox environments and behavioural malware analysis tools
