JOB ROLE
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy, Business Plans and Targets
● Assist senior management in formulating regional sales strategies using market insights and data
● Lead execution of regional sales plans including territory planning, targets, and resource allocation
● Drive market penetration and acquisition of strategic and large accounts
Business Development
● Analyze regional markets and identify opportunities to increase market share
● Build and manage sales pipeline and forecasts
● Identify new client opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to develop
solution strategies
● Ensure accurate tracking and qualification of leads based on defined parameters
Sales Operations and Performance Management
● Manage full sales lifecycle including large and complex deal closures
● Lead and participate in commercial negotiations
● Design and execute sales campaigns
● Track sales performance, KPIs, and dashboards
● Ensure alignment with sales targets and management expectations
Relationship Building
● Build relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners
● Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior client executives
● Understand client business priorities and position solutions accordingly
Process Improvement and People Management
● Stay current with industry trends, competitor landscape, and emerging technologies
● Drive continuous improvement in sales effectiveness
● Support capability development and performance alignment across teams
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field
● MBA / PGDBM in Sales / Marketing preferred
Skills
● Strong understanding of BFSI industry and banking technology ecosystem
● Experience in enterprise and strategic sales
● Knowledge of SPANCO sales cycle and large deal management
● Strong market analysis and client engagement skills
● Understanding of banking platforms, lending systems, or transaction banking solutions
