What Our Client Needs

Our client is expanding its Medical Science Liaison team across several regions, including the Northeast, Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic, Central, Northwest, and Southern California. This role is responsible for implementing regional Medical Affairs strategies, supporting clinical development initiatives, and building strong relationships within the medical and scientific community.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will serve as a key scientific resource and trusted partner to healthcare professionals, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

  • Build advocacy for ECP therapy and research activities among key opinion leaders, academic centers, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, hospital administration, and payers
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Provide scientific and clinical expertise on products and relevant therapeutic areas
  • Support clinical development initiatives, including clinical trial awareness, education, and recruitment efforts
  • Contribute to and support Advisory Boards and expert meetings
  • Participate in medical congresses and scientific meetings to gather and share industry insights
  • Deliver evidence-based scientific information to support patient care and treatment decisions
  • Provide field insights and feedback to help guide product and medical strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with organizational objectives
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulatory and legal guidelines

This position may require regional travel to support field engagement, scientific meetings, and key stakeholder interactions.

What You’ll Need

  • Advanced degree in life sciences such as a PhD, MD, PharmD, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison or similar role within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Strong scientific and clinical knowledge in hematology, solid organ transplantation, immunology, oncology, or related therapeutic areas
  • Experience supporting clinical trial awareness, education, and recruitment initiatives
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience working directly with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret scientific data and provide actionable insights
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • High level of integrity and commitment to compliance standards
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
