What Our Client Needs
A Senior QA Engineer to lead quality assurance efforts for a geolocation platform, with a strong focus on automation, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned QA professional who takes ownership of quality from end to end. You are detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable leading testing initiatives in complex, regulated environments. You value collaboration and mentor others by example.
What You’ll Do
• Lead the design and execution of testing strategies for mobile and desktop applications
• Build and maintain automated test frameworks and best practices
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium and Appium
• Partner with engineering and SRE teams to identify risks and testing needs
• Create and maintain test documentation, test cases, and QA processes
• Test geolocation functionality, including GPS and Bluetooth connectivity
• Test iOS and Android applications for UX, performance, and edge cases
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects
• Ensure features meet gaming and sports betting compliance standards
• Improve testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality metrics
• Build tools for test data generation and environment management
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices
Travel and supervisory responsibilities will be communicated based on business needs.
What You’ll Need
• 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and test automation
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Strong experience testing mobile (iOS and Android) and desktop applications
• Hands-on expertise with Selenium and Appium
• Experience with Java, Python, or similar programming languages
• Knowledge of AWS cloud environments
• Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing pipelines
• Strong analytical, defect management, and communication skills
• Experience with API or performance testing is a plus
