What Our Client Needs:

Our client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support decision-making by identifying trends, evaluating business strategies, and helping leadership understand financial performance and variances. This role provides critical analysis of financials—including sales, gross margins, functional P&L’s, SG&A spend mix, capital expenditures, and ROI analyses—while working closely with business leaders to interpret variances and identify actionable strategies.

This position reports to the Director of FP&A and joins a team dedicated to a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and leveraging processes and analytics to support an exciting growth model. It’s an ideal role for someone who is organized, curious, and motivated to make an impact in a global organization.


Who You Are:

You are a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments and can translate financial insights into meaningful business strategies.


What You’ll Do:

  • Build and maintain sales analytics models to track performance, customer trends, and product/service profitability.
  • Identify drivers of sales performance and support revenue growth decisions.
  • Partner with sales teams on forecasting to align financial and operational goals.
  • Conduct price analysis and provide financial support to decision-makers.
  • Deliver functional P&L reporting (budget, forecast, prior year) and collaborate with leaders to explain variances and define improvement strategies.
  • Lead cost analyses for T&E, fleet, freight, and logistics; identify optimization opportunities.
  • Build, refine, and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategy evaluation.
  • Conduct scenario analysis and “what-if” modeling for business strategies and new initiatives.
  • Track and report on financial performance of R&D and Clinical Development projects, collaborating with project managers to ensure budget alignment and risk mitigation.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and prepare financial summaries for senior leadership.
  • Evaluate investments in marketing, geographic expansion, and T&E for ROI and alignment with sales performance expectations.


This position requires minimal travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CIMA a plus).
  • 7+ years of financial analysis experience with focus on sales & cost analysis, modeling, and forecasting.
  • Proven experience with variance analysis and financial reporting for complex organizations.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, financial functions).
  • Experience with financial systems (e.g., Netsuite, Hyperion, BPC) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, data warehouses).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Expertise in scenario analysis and “what-if” modeling.
