What Our Client Needs:

Our client is seeking a Manager, Global Medical Information to oversee global medical information activities, including managing unsolicited requests for information, preparing and updating Global Medical Information (GMI) content, and serving as the medical reviewer and/or coordinator on promotional and non-promotional review committees. This individual may also lead or participate in assigned projects or workstreams and manage vendors as needed.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, have a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, and are proactive in managing responsibilities with accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage unsolicited requests for information received from healthcare professionals, payers, patients, and caregivers, ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely responses.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up including reporting adverse events or complaints and triaging requests as needed.
  • Create, update, and review Scientific Response Documents (SRDs) and Custom Response Documents (CRDs) with up-to-date, relevant information.
  • Conduct literature searches and select relevant publications to include in response documents.
  • Ensure compliance with GMI Style Guide, templates, SOPs, and overall regulatory parameters.
  • Serve as the medical reviewer on the Promotional Review Committee (PRC).
  • Serve as the coordinator and medical reviewer on the non-promotional Medical Review Committee (MRC).
  • Review materials for accuracy, balance, substantiation, and appropriateness for target audiences.
  • Represent Medical Information in meetings, providing updates and strategy input to the broader Clinical Development and Medical Affairs team.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and service providers to ensure accurate and compliant responses.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable products, disease states, and emerging data.
  • Support additional projects and tasks outside primary responsibilities, as assigned.


This position requires minimal travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.


What You’ll Need:

  • Advanced scientific degree (e.g., PharmD or equivalent).
  • Maintains professional licensure in accordance with State and Federal laws, if applicable.
  • 3–6 years of experience in a Medical Affairs environment, with direct Medical Information experience preferred.
  • 1–2 years of clinical or pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong scientific knowledge and ability to quickly absorb and understand new topics.
  • Excellent writing skills, including grammar, organization, and ability to tailor content for varied audiences.
  • Strong verbal communication and ability to interact with stakeholders and customers effectively.
  • Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations and guidance relevant to Medical Information.
  • Experience with literature evaluation and selection.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize deliverables.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with systems such as IRMS, Veeva MedComms/PromoMats, or PubHive preferred.
