What Our Client Needs
Our client is seeking a Strategy Intern, Evidence Generation, to support enterprise-wide evidence planning. This internship will focus on literature reviews, evidence landscape assessments, gap analyses, research prioritization, and the development of an Integrated Evidence Generation Plan (IEGP).

Who You Are
You are a current undergraduate student with an interest in healthcare, medical research, evidence generation, or the pharmaceutical or medical device industries. You can evaluate scientific information, organize complex data, and turn findings into clear insights. You work well independently and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Do
You will gain hands-on experience in strategic evidence planning while contributing to a high-visibility, cross-functional initiative.

  • Conduct structured literature reviews across prioritized therapeutic areas.
  • Assess clinical, health economic, patient-reported, real-world, and scientific evidence.
  • Develop evidence inventories, evidence maps, and gap-analysis tools.
  • Identify evidence gaps across treatment journeys, stakeholder needs, and strategic priorities.
  • Assess the maturity and strength of evidence within key disease states.
  • Support evidence-gap frameworks aligned with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Clinical Development priorities.
  • Identify areas of duplication, underinvestment, and future research opportunity.
  • Support development of an enterprise IEGP and research prioritization activities.
  • Help connect evidence gaps with potential clinical, investigator-initiated, collaborative, HEOR, RWE, and publication initiatives.
  • Create executive-ready presentations, evidence summaries, and visualizations.
  • Maintain literature databases and source repositories.
  • Support stakeholder interviews, workshops, Steering Committee materials, and updates.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership.

You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. No specific travel or supervisory responsibilities are identified for this internship.

What You’ll Need

  • Current undergraduate enrollment in life sciences, health sciences, public health, biomedical engineering, healthcare business, data analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in healthcare, medical research, evidence generation, or the pharmaceutical or medical device industries.
  • Strong scientific literature review, critical appraisal, analytical, organizational, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise insights.
  • Strong project management and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
  • Familiarity with PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, or similar scientific databases is preferred.
  • Experience with scientific literature reviews, data collection and analysis, evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, or health outcomes research is preferred.
