What Our Client Needs
Our client needs a Principal Scientist – Immunology to lead advanced immunology research, develop immune biology platforms, and translate scientific insights into new therapeutic and technology opportunities.

Who You Are
You are a seasoned immunologist with deep expertise in immune mechanisms. You are hands-on, collaborative, scientifically rigorous, and comfortable mentoring others while shaping new research capabilities.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, execute, and interpret complex immunology studies focused on immune signaling, regulation, and cell-cell interactions.
  • Elucidate immune mechanisms that support novel immune-modulating technologies and platforms.
  • Drive hypothesis-driven research that advances understanding of immune system function and dysregulation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate immune biology insights into practical applications.
  • Mentor scientists and research staff while fostering scientific rigor and curiosity.
  • Maintain high-quality data generation, documentation, and a compliant, safety-focused laboratory environment.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in immunology across multidisciplinary teams.

This role is full-time onsite. Supervisory responsibilities include mentorship and development of scientists and research staff.

What You’ll Need

  • PhD in Immunology or a related biological science.
  • Extensive postdoctoral and/or industry research experience with deep expertise in immune mechanisms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex scientific programs and influence research direction.
  • Strong scientific communication skills and experience working cross-functionally.
  • Hands-on experience in an onsite laboratory environment.
  • Experience in immune regulation, immunosuppression, or regulatory immune cell biology preferred.
  • Familiarity with oncology, cell therapy, transplant immunology, or immune engineering platforms preferred.
  • Experience contributing to early technology or platform development preferred.
