What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Medical Science Liaison / Medical Advisor to lead regional Medical Affairs activities across the D/A/CH region, build strong relationships with key opinion leaders, support strategic medical programs, and provide scientific expertise across multiple business functions.

You are an independent, proactive, and collaborative medical professional with strong scientific knowledge and excellent communication skills. You enjoy building relationships, delivering scientific education, and partnering across functions to support medical and commercial objectives.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic centers, professional organizations, patient advocacy groups, hospital administrators, and payers.
• Present and communicate scientific and medical information through meetings, advisory boards, congresses, and educational programs.
• Support clinical development activities, including ongoing and new clinical trials.
• Contribute to product launch initiatives and Medical Affairs strategy.
• Respond to scientific inquiries and provide medical expertise to internal stakeholders.
• Support publication planning and internal clinical education.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Research & Development, Health Economics, Reimbursement, Sales, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and healthcare compliance requirements.

This home-based role requires significant travel throughout the assigned region and reports to the Senior Medical Director, International. No supervisory responsibilities are specified.

What You’ll Need

• PhD, MD, or PharmD.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Medical Science Liaison or Medical Advisor role.
• Experience in oncology and rare diseases preferred.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Excellent presentation, teaching, and communication skills.
• Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
