What Our Client Needs
Our client is seeking a Strategy Intern, Evidence Generation, to support the development of an enterprise-wide evidence generation strategy. This intern will conduct literature reviews, assess evidence landscapes, identify evidence gaps, and help prioritize future research investments across key therapeutic areas.

Who You Are
You are a graduate-level student or recent graduate with strong scientific research, critical appraisal, and analytical skills. You can turn complex information into clear insights, manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct structured literature reviews across prioritized therapeutic areas.
  • Assess clinical, health economic, patient-reported, real-world, and scientific evidence.
  • Develop evidence inventories, evidence maps, and gap-analysis tools.
  • Identify unmet evidence needs across treatment journeys, stakeholder priorities, and strategic objectives.
  • Assess the maturity and strength of evidence within key disease states.
  • Support evidence-gap frameworks and research prioritization exercises.
  • Help develop evidence-generation recommendations for future clinical, investigator-initiated, collaborative, HEOR, RWE, and publication initiatives.
  • Create executive-ready presentations, evidence summaries, and visualizations.
  • Maintain literature databases and source repositories.
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews and workshops.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Clinical Development teams.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Contribute to the development of an enterprise integrated evidence generation plan (IEGP).

The role involves cross-functional collaboration and presentations to leadership. No specific travel or supervisory responsibilities were provided.

What You’ll Need

  • Current enrollment in, or recent graduation from, a graduate-level PharmD, PhD, MPH, MS, or qualifying MBA program.
  • For MS candidates, study in Life Sciences, Epidemiology, Health Outcomes, Public Health, or a related field.
  • For MBA candidates, an undergraduate degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Strong scientific literature review and critical appraisal skills.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of information into concise, strategic insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
  • Coursework or experience in Medical Affairs, HEOR, Epidemiology, Evidence-Based Medicine, literature review methodology, or Real-World Evidence preferred.
  • Familiarity with scientific literature databases such as PubMed, Embase, or Cochrane Library preferred.
  • Experience with evidence synthesis, systematic reviews, or health outcomes research preferred.
