What Our Client Needs:

Our client is seeking a Cell Biologist to support mechanistic cellular research, assay development, and biological lab experiments within the research and development team. This role will contribute hands-on expertise in cell culture, cell-based assays, imaging, and molecular biology to drive projects from discovery through product and pre-clinical development.


Who You Are:

You are a detail-oriented scientist with strong technical skills in cellular and molecular biology. You thrive in the lab, excel at designing and executing experiments, and enjoy collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to advance discovery and development.


What You’ll Do:

  • Design, execute, and analyze in vitro cell-based experiments to study cell behavior, signaling, and function.
  • Maintain cell lines under aseptic conditions.
  • Develop and optimize cellular assays (e.g., proliferation, cytotoxicity, apoptosis, migration, differentiation).
  • Operate analytical instruments and perform molecular and biochemical techniques such as flow cytometry and ELISA.
  • Use microscopy (confocal, fluorescence) and imaging software for cellular phenotyping and localization studies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Engineering, Quality, and Clinical.
  • Document experiments in lab notebooks and digital systems; contribute to technical reports, publications, and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols and contribute to lab maintenance and improvement.
  • Partner with leaders in Clinical, Regulatory, Engineering, and Business Development to advance programs and shape strategy.


This position requires minimal travel and has no supervisory responsibilities.


What You’ll Need:

  • MS or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
  • PhD with 0–2 years postdoctoral or industry experience, or MS with 3–5+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
  • Strong expertise in cell culture techniques.
  • Familiarity with gene editing tools (CRISPR, RNA interference, or viral transduction) a plus.
  • Experience in cell therapy, CAR-T, or stem cell process development a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze data rigorously, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
