About the Job: As the Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for:

• Review requisitions received; MRP and inventory and determine materials needed
• Source and comparative price all materials for assigned commodity responsibilities
• Secures and analyzes quotations, negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers 
• Purchase all materials for assigned commodity responsibilities
• Initiates purchase orders and bid requests
• Expedite all materials for assigned commodity responsibilities
• Responsible for the timely planning, scheduling of receipt and inventory control of products and services as assigned
• Coordinates the planning of recent schedules and inventory control parameters for assigned products and services
• Define, adjust, and monitor stock parameters to ensure smooth production and maintain control over inventory value
• Monitor lead times to align with production requirements and maintain a fluid process
• You’ll manage the sourcing process, securing materials, and services to keep production running smoothly

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years prior experience purchasing materials required
• Manufacturing industry preferred

Salary: $70,000 depending on experience 

Job Status: Direct Hire, full time onsite Monday - Friday
