About the Job: The Director of Manufacturing Operations is responsible for leading all production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. This role will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance productivity, and optimize manufacturing processes by implementing best practices.

• Lead the development and execution of manufacturing strategies in line with company goals, focusing on ongoing improvements and innovation.
• Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring schedules, quality targets, and safety standards are achieved.
• Implement cross-training initiatives to boost workforce flexibility and responsiveness.
• Identify and drive process optimization through Lean/Kaizen events, promoting a culture of efficiency and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and implement quality control practices to maintain product standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and sales teams to align manufacturing goals with broader business objectives.
• Manage the manufacturing budget, prioritizing cost management and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with procurement to optimize material availability and inventory levels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5+ years in a leadership position.
• Strong foundation in lean manufacturing principles, quality management, and operational improvement.
• Proficiency in ERP and manufacturing software tools.

Work Style: On-site in Central NY

Compensation: $150,000 - $175,000 + bonus
