About the Job: The Vice President of Information Technology will lead the corporate IT strategy, operations, and digital transformation initiatives across corporate offices, business units, & operations. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position will align IT capabilities with business goals to drive growth, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks. The VP-IT will oversee ERP modernization, cybersecurity enhancements, and the exploration of AI/automation opportunities to advance the company’s competitive edge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute an IT roadmap that supports enterprise-wide goals. Serve as the primary advisor on IT strategy for the executive team and board.
- Digital Transformation: Lead ERP modernization projects, integrating systems across finance, operations, and logistics. Champion AI and automation initiatives to optimize business processes.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Strengthen cybersecurity infrastructure, manage risk, and implement best practices, leveraging both in-house and third-party resources.
- IT Operations Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, ensure system uptime, and streamline vendor relationships.
- Team Leadership: Build a high-performing IT team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of IT leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive role.
- Proven expertise in ERP systems, cloud technology, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of building cross-functional partnerships.
- Experience in logistics or transportation industries preferred.
Job Status: Full time, direct hire. Onsite in Buffalo, NY
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 base salary + bonus
