About the Job: The Maintenance Supervisor (3rd shift) will oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of plant systems and equipment within a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance programs, troubleshooting systems, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and reliability. The position is primarily on 3rd shift and involves leading maintenance personnel, coordinating repairs, and ensuring production goals are met safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance technicians and assign daily work priorities to support production needs.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
- Manage and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Support equipment installation, upgrades, and capital projects as needed.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and equipment performance records.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance plant efficiency and reliability.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical or associate/bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge electrical and PLC-controlled systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Commitment to safety, teamwork, and maintaining a clean, efficient work environment.
- Availability to work 3rd shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 salary.
Job Status: Direct hire. On-site in Buffalo, NY.
