About the Opportunity: The Senior Operations Manager will oversee the operational systems and administrative processes that support the organization’s programs and strategic initiatives. This highly cross-functional role will partner with senior leadership to improve processes, coordinate priorities, and strengthen organizational efficiency and accountability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, workflows, administrative processes, and internal systems.
- Develop and improve procedures and processes that increase efficiency and accountability.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across finance, grants, HR, technology, marketing, investment, and program teams.
- Support budgeting, financial administration, forecasting, and reporting.
- Manage grant and contract administration, including budgets, reporting, compliance, and deadlines.
- Oversee operational processes supporting programs, clients, and external partners.
- Maintain data quality and reporting across CRM and other organizational systems.
- Coordinate HR, technology, vendor, and consultant relationships.
- Develop management reports, tracking tools, and dashboards.
- Partner with leadership on organizational planning, special projects, and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, administration, program management, finance administration, grant management, or a related function.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities, stakeholders, vendors, and administrative processes.
- Experience with budgets, grants, contracts, HR processes, technology systems, and reporting.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, and experience with CRM or data management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across an organization.
- Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information.
- Nonprofit, entrepreneurial, economic development, or startup experience preferred.
Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 base salary
