Centennial is seeking a visionary, enterprise‑minded President to lead a diversified portfolio of companies, including two multi‑location commercial furniture dealerships, a related service company and an ATM installation company. This executive will shape strategy, elevate operational excellence, strengthen culture, and drive long‑term enterprise value across all business units.
The President provides strategic leadership, operational oversight, and cultural direction—ensuring each company thrives in its market while leveraging shared systems, leadership standards, financial discipline, and enterprise‑wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for all portfolio companies
- Align all operating companies around shared goals, values, and performance expectations
- Identify opportunities for growth, diversification, and operational efficiency
- Expand into adjacent markets, services, and strategic opportunities
- Drive technological advancement across the enterprise
- Serve as the primary liaison to the Advisory Board, ensuring alignment and effective governance
- Drive sustainable revenue growth within existing markets while identifying and expanding into adjacent markets, services, and strategic opportunities that strengthen the organization’s competitive position and long-term profitability.
Operational Leadership
- Ensure operational excellence and scalable processes across all companies
- Support leadership teams in improving productivity, customer satisfaction, and project execution
- Promote collaboration and best‑practice sharing among business units
Leadership Development & Culture
- Develop, mentor, and empower senior leaders across all operating companies
- Strengthen leadership accountability, succession planning, and talent retention
- Build and sustain a high‑performance, values‑driven culture
- Promote alignment while honoring the unique needs of each market and business
Qualifications & Experience:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or related field, MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive executive leadership experience
- Multi‑entity or multi‑location leadership experience
- Experience in contract furniture, commercial interiors, workplace services, architectural products, construction‑adjacent, field‑service, or project‑based distribution organizations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success driving growth, profitability, and organizational transformation
- Experience leading strategic planning, operational improvement, and culture development initiatives
- Regular travel between Columbus and Cincinnati
- Participation in industry events, customer meetings, and leadership retreats expected.
