Apply for this job

Centennial is recruiting a Senior Construction Project Manager to lead construction projects, heavily focused on-site work, for a multi-generational family-owned company in Cincinnati. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects with complex site design, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering results on time and within budget.

The Senior Construction Project Manager will oversee the annual scope, budget, and schedule for Repairs & Maintenance (R&M), expansions, and brownfield developments. This role involves collaborating with civil, structural, and MEP engineers, architects, landscape architects, and testing and geotechnical firms. The candidate must excel in problem-solving, multitasking, coordinating with contractors, and maintaining attention to detail. Effective communication with stakeholders is crucial to project success.

After a 60-90 day training period with 50% travel, the Senior Construction Project Manager will hire and train a Project Manager to take over daily on-site supervision and most travel. Once the PM is fully trained, the Senior Construction Project Manager's travel will reduce to 30%, allowing them to focus on strategic project oversight, value engineering as well as budget and milestone tracking.
