Job Details:
- The Assistant Engineer I will work in a very busy team-oriented environment. The Assistant Engineer I responsibilities will provide support to PWSC for energy and cost analysis, address CAISO metering deficiencies, provide support and cross-training for NERC cybersecurity related compliance requirements, and revenue enhancement efforts.
- The Administrative Assistant II will prioritize work assignments, be detail oriented and have strong communication skills, work collaboratively with coworkers, perform administrative duties, and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
- The Administrative Assistant II may execute mathematical, statistical, and other models or participate on a project team and may perform other related Engineer job duties as required.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:
- Learn and assist with planning, coordinating, conducting, and monitoring tests, studies, and investigations.
- Learn and assist with preparing technical documents, reports, and presentations.
- Learn and assist with technical analyses.
- Learn and assist to prepare cost estimates and budgets.
- Learn and assist with site inspections.
- Learn and assist with maintaining official records, documents, and data.
Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field by hired date.
GENERAL REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Engineering principles and practices in specific discipline; and current office technology and equipment.
GENERAL REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES TO:
- Analyze and interpret data; organize; problem solve; prioritize and multi-task; communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work; work independently and in a team environment; and operate current office equipment including computers and supporting applications.
- Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.
- Detail orient, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
The hiring range for this position is $47.85 -$ 53 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
